The after effects of Covid 19

Hello again. I thought I would just give a quick update as, while I felt mostly recovered by day 17 of Covid, I actually did have some after effects that plagued me for quite a bit longer.
I went back to work on the 30th of November (I work in finance in a primary school). It was tough. I only work 20 hours a week, but I found by the end of the first week, I was falling asleep shortly after getting home and only getting up to make dinner and help care for the guinea pigs. Then I would watch a bit of TV and go straight back to bed. This exhaustion lasted until the end of term (19th of December).
I also suffered a couple more rounds of diarreah during the couple of weeks after my 'recovery'. Covid was the gift that just wouldn't stop giving!
After Christmas I took my first long walk outdoors since having Covid. My family and I used to try to walk 3-4 miles every weekend. I managed about a mile and a half before I had to give up because my chest was sore and I was breathless. Over the following few days I did manage to increase my distance and reduce my chest pain by pacing myself while walking.
My chest did continue to hurt on and off for several weeks after my 'recovery'. I had a few days before Christmas where I wondered if I could be getting Covid again because it was bothering me so much. However, it did disappear after a couple of days, and I've been fine for the most part.
I was very lucky that I didn't need hospital care throughout this whole Covid experience. However, Covid was no joke, and I wouldn't wish this on anyone.
Stay safe!
